If you want a lot of extra frills and gadgets then it would be worth looking at some of the mid range models. This has the features for the every day family cooking not the budding chef!
The 7 Burner Gas Hob
This is a good hob for a budget model, covering all of the things you need in a large hob set up. The seven gas burners are a mixed set if sizes starting with a large Wok style burner just to the left of centre for all of the pans that need a lot of heat, something not many of the budget models have. The other six burners are a good mix of small and medium sized burners that will kick out enough heat for a mixture of sized pans. This gas hob gives instant heat and is very controllable, a really great hob for the money.
The Main Oven
This is a great electric fan oven that has a good capacity to cook most meals and will not need the auxiliary oven except for the biggest meals. The fan oven gives you brilliant heat distribution so that you get the best and most controllable cooking results from your oven. The oven has a programmable timer and clock so that you can go out while it is cooking. The oven light and configurable shelves make it easy to keep an eye on the food as it is cooked. A really good main oven that covers more then the basics.
The Auxiliary Oven
The auxiliary oven is a flexible conventional electric oven with a grill element as well. A really good back up to the main oven for cooking parts of a meal, grilling or keeping things warm. It is a good size oven adding to the cookers capacity.
The electric grill is a variable heat standard electric grill that works well for keeping things warm and most grilling needs.
The Storage Compartment
The storage compartment enables you to keep pans and pots close to the cooker ar can be used to warm plates through when you are cooking. A great feature that helps you to keep everything in one place when you are cooking.
Spare Parts And Warranty
The Beko customer service is brilliant, with so many appliances in UK homes they have a huge network of engineers and a comprehensive stock of spare parts that are easily accessed online through the Beko site. The parts are very reasonably priced and mean you will be able to get your cooker back up and running very quickly and easily in the case of an emergency. An important factor when chooing a range cooker.
Summing It Up
This is a brilliant value range cooker that has some mid range features like a wok burner. The hob and ovens are very comprehensive and should cover the needs of most families even for the biggest meals. Value for money and customer support really sells this model which will last you for many years. If you like your labels and gadgets then this not the range cooker for you. A great buy and highly recommended.
Why Use A Free Standing Range Cooker
Free standing cookers have some really big benefits and range cookers are free standing. They are very flexible and allow you to move them or you kitchen around with no problem. Just think, it’s time to change around the kitchen and maybe put in some new units but your range cooker is absolutely fine. You will be able to alter your kitchen around the range cooker as it is not an integral part of the kitchen. Where as, if you have integrated hobs and ovens it makes it a lot more difficult as you have to re integrate them into any kitchen units you would like. If in the unfortunate event that you need to replace your cooker, it is really to remove a free standing cooker with out disturbing your kitchen as opposed to integrated cookers where the units of the kitchen need to be taken apart to get into the cookers themselves. Definitely a factor to think about when buying a range cooker.
