5 Reasons to buy a Range Cooker
Now that you have had a look through our top 10 range cooker reviews its time to really look at why you should by the perfect model for you. It’s an expensive purchase and one that you want to get right as the cooker will probably be in your kitchen for many years to come. Here are some reasons why you should buy a range cooker.
One: Cooking Capacity
Most range cookers reviewed have a dual oven set up which gives you a huge cooking space compared to a conventional cooker. The 90cm width range cookers may well offer one larger oven and one smaller one and the wider cookers will have two larger ovens. This is really handy especially when you are trying to co ordinate the cooking of the family roast and there is not enough space to fit the meat and vegetables into the oven at once. Having the ability to cook everything at once means you can serve all of the food up while it is hot and reduce the cooking time for the meal.
Two: They Look Great
There is no getting away from it, the range cookers look really good in your kitchen. The kitchen is becoming a hub in many family homes and the design and feel of the room is important. Long gone are the days when the kitchen was only used for cooking, many family meals and parties centre around an open plan areas that encompasses the kitchen, dining room and living room. Elegant kitchen appliances are key to finishing off the design and getting the quality feel that we all desire. A range cooker is the perfect touch to a high quality kitchen.
Three: Cooking For A Busier Lifestyle
Many of us these days have a very busy schedule with parents working full time and children with different activities at various times. We need to be able to cater for the schedules which can often mean cooking different meals or keeping food warm to be ready at different times. With a range cooker you can cook different meals at the same time and even keep stuff warm for serving at different points during the day. If any of the family have particular dietary requirements it can add to the cooking burden, a range cooker will assist with this. Compared to a standard size cooker with a single oven and for burner hob the range cooker will make a big difference.
Four: Hosting Guests
Hosting parties and guests can be a massive headache when really it should be and enjoyable experience where you can relax with your friends and enjoy some good food. The reality can be that you spend a large amount of the time charging around the kitchen trying to make sure everything is warm and ready on time, once everyone has eaten all you want to do is collapse on the sofa! A range cooker will allow you the space a functionality to cook a lot of food before the event and keep it warm and also have a few things cooking at once. One of the main reasons for a massive panic when cooking for a number of people is space for all of the pots and pans, two ovens and six to eight burners will reduce the stress of this massively.
Five: A Cooker That Will Last
When you are investing in a cooker or any large appliance you need to think about the different uses and what could change over a number of years. A range cooker will give you the ability to change your cooking patterns over a long period of time reducing the need for you to replace it. You could just be cooking for two but are considering a family where you could quite easily be catering for four in a few years. You may want to have family over more often but don’t have the capacity to cook and wish you had a bigger cooker two or three times a year. The other great thing is that the ovens are separate so you don’t have to use the full capacity all of the time, most of these cookers have A or AA energy ratings so the bills will be low.
